Philipp Blombach is a european based Designer and Art Director, working in the fields of editorial, corporate, exhibition, graphic design, visual research and consulting.
While graduating from University of Wuppertal and
Folkwang University of the Arts he cofounded the non-profit, independent art-association brink e.V. in 2010, where he has been publishing and
designing the europe-wide distributed magazine brink, which discusses the connections between Science and Arts.
Since 2013 he works as an Art Director at Meiré und Meiré, a renowned design agency based in Cologne, Germany where he has been working for clients such as 032c, AGNONA, brandeins, kid’s wear, NZZ and SIEDLE.
From 2015, along with Mike Meiré, he is responsible for the Art Direction of German Art magazine BLAU. The 13th issue is due out in September 2016, whilst the first international issue was released in May 2016.
